Who runs the world? Did you just say, a woman? The contribution of women to how much the world is growing is more than 50%. Gone are the days when women just excelled in the household chores and all great jobs belonged to the men. Women have consistently proven their potential to make it big in the professional world and in the world of business. It’s only with the participation of women that entrepreneurship is on the rise in India and around the world.

So, what is driving so many women to start businesses? What challenges do they face? What helps them grow? Where do they look for inspiration and mentorship? And, how are the men in their lives, helping and supporting them in living out their entrepreneurial dreams.

Headstart Kochi invites all Kochiites to the March edition of Startup Saturday Kochi on the theme ‘Rise of Women Entrepreneurship’.

She is the founder of V-Star Creation and the better half of ace entrepreneur Kochouseph Chittilappilly. With V-Star she has created a name for herself in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the country.

Harsha Thachery

The CA who didnt play by the books

Harsha founded a food delivery firm called Masalabox which operates in Kochi and Bangalore.

Aardra Chandra Mouli

Co-Founder of Aeka

Aardra holds a bachelors degree in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from SCT College of Engineering, Trivandrum, and a masters in management from Warwick Business School, UK, where she attended with a full scholarship (the Jubilee Scholarship, funded by the British Government and the British Council). She has worked in product management and marketing.

Gayathri Thankachi V.

Co-Founder of Aeka

Gayathri completed her bachelors course in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from SCTCE, Trivandrum, and has work experience in biotech and biomedical marketing.
