If you are a gamer, run a gaming startup, or are looking at a career in gaming- this #StartupSaturday is just for you. The theme for June 2020's Startup Saturday is, 'Video Games & Pandemic: A match made in heaven?'
In contrast to many other economic sectors that are drastically affected by the pandemic, the video game industry has been fairly resilient to the pandemic. Most video game developers, publishers, and operators have been able to maintain operations. With employees working from home to sustain game development and digital releases- with the persistent stay-at-home orders, inevitably productivity issues have arisen.
Come listen to the Ninjas from the Gaming Industry across the Globe, about how the industry is dealing with the repercussions of the pandemic.

Imangi Studios
LinkedinWith a bachelor in Fine Arts, I started in the game industry as an art outsourcing manager 12 years ago. Unlike most of my peers, I’ve always worked on free to play genre, first on PC, like Kung Fu Panda World Online, Call of Duty Online, etc. Then I decided to transit to mobile, because I saw the potential of the casual mobile gaming space and wanted to contribute to it. In the past couple of years, I was the product owner for Bejeweled Blitz working out of EA Hyderabad, now I am the product owner for Temple Run and Temple 2 in Raleigh, North Carolina for Imangi Studios. I take a holistic approach to live ops, I believe in a good balance between player experience and achieving business goals
